Rep. Dan Fabian to Chair Environment, Serve on Ways and Means, and Job Growth and Energy Affordability and Policy Committees
Saint Paul, MINN— On Tuesday, December 20, 2016, House Republicans unveiled committee assignments for the 2017-2018 legislative sessions. Representative Dan Fabian (R-Roseau) who was named Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee late last month, will also serve on the Job Growth and Energy Affordability Policy and Finance Committee, as well as the Ways and Means Committee.
“Today’s committee assignments make me excited to get back to work in January, fighting for commonsense policies that work for folks in Northwest Minnesota and across the state,” said Rep. Fabian. “From working to lessen regulatory burdens and making energy more affordable for families, farmers and small businesses, to crafting budget bills that use your tax dollars wisely and limit government growth, I think there is a lot of important work to be done over the next two years.”
Fabian, who was first elected in 2010, serves District 1A in Northwest Minnesota. The legislative session is set to begin January 3, 2017.
