St. Paul –Speaker Kurt Daudt (R-Crown) and Majority Leader Joyce Peppin (R-Rogers) announced the new members of the House Republican Caucus leadership team Wednesday morning. Representative Roz Peterson (R-Lakeville) was elected by her peers to an Assistant Majority Leader position.
“It is an honor to be named Assistant Majority Leader," said Peterson. "Along with my fellow legislators, I look forward to working on lowering healthcare costs, creating well-paying jobs, and reducing the tax burden on small businesses and the middle class. I am dedicated to putting your priorities first at the Capitol, and am humbled by your ongoing support."
“Our new leadership team has a variety of backgrounds including teachers and small business owners from all corners of the state,” said Majority Leader Peppin. “We're eager to get to work beginning January 3rd for Minnesota families.”
