SAINT PAUL, MINN— On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, Speaker Kurt Daudt (R-Crown) and Majority Leader Joyce Peppin (R-Rogers) announced the new members of the House Republican Caucus leadership team. Members of the caucus chose six Assistant Majority Leaders including Representative Kelly Fenton (R-Woodbury), who was appointed by the Speaker. Rep. Fenton, who represents District 53B, was recently elected to serve a second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

“It’s an honor to have been chosen as an Assistant Majority Leader, and I look forward to getting back to work in January for the people of Minnesota,” said Rep. Fenton. “From providing meaningful tax relief for families, seniors and small businesses to addressing our state’s health care cost crisis, there are a number of important priorities that must be addressed in the upcoming legislative session.”
