Email Updates Resume
With the election over, rules of the House permit email updates to once again continue. In the weeks leading up to the start of the legislative session on Tuesday, January 3, I will provide information on issues that are expected to be front and center next year. Chief among them are taxes, capital investment (bonding) and transportation, three priorities left over from the 2016 session.
Honored to be Re-Elected Majority Leader
On Friday, November 11, I was honored to be re-elected by my colleagues as Minnesota House Majority Leader. My duties will largely remain the same and include serving as Chair of the Rules Committee, scheduling legislation, directing floor debate and helping manage budget and policy negotiations with the Governor and Senate.
