SAINT PAUL, MINN- The National Federation of Independent Business Minnesota (NFIB), which has 11,000 members statewide, announced this week that Representative Sarah Anderson (R-Plymouth) was awarded the NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award.
NFIB gives out the award at both the federal and state level to recognize legislators who have been supportive of issues critical to small businesses in Minnesota during the 2015-2016 legislative sessions.
“It is an honor to be named a Guardian of Small Business, and I will continue to champion policies that help our small businesses succeed and thrive,” said Rep. Anderson. “Small businesses in Plymouth strengthen our community, and I advocate for them at the Capitol. From providing meaningful property tax relief to enacting tax policy to help businesses hire and expand, our economy improves when there are more opportunities for small businesses to grow and create jobs right here in Minnesota.”
