ST. PAUL – House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Knoblach, R-St. Cloud, expressed disappointment Thursday following news a special session to address key issues such as bills related to tax and bonding appears unlikely to take place in the coming weeks.
“The governor easily could call the Legislature back to focus on the areas of broad, bipartisan agreement,” said Rep. Jim Knoblach, R-St. Cloud. “But, instead of providing hundreds of millions of dollars in tax relief, bonding and funding for roads and bridges, he is allowing the proposed Southwest Light Rail line to stop everything else.”
