I will be hosting an informational town hall on gun violence prevention with Rep. Jim Davnie and Sen. Patricia Torres Ray on Tuesday, May 1st at the Communications Workers of America Hall, 3521 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406. You will find details for the meeting below.
Join us for a conversation about current gun safety efforts at the Legislature. We'll be joined by community leaders representing Survivors Lead, Protect MN, Everytown for Gun Safety, and Students Demand Action. We will also have a brief presentation on the history of the 2nd Amendment in the United States. There will be time to take questions from members of the community.
This event is free and open to the public. You are welcome to come and go as you please. I hope you can join us!
