SAINT PAUL, MN – Governor Dayton released his 2018 bonding recommendations today, asking the legislature for a $1.5 billion infrastructure bill to help communities around the state fund critical needs.
DFL Capital Investment Lead, Rep. Alice Hausman (DFL-St. Paul) had the following statement:
“I am pleased the governor released an aggressive bill. After having traveled the state this autumn, I know that the need is great in all corners. Now that we have the governor’s recommendations, the legislature can move forward and craft a robust, balanced bill. Minnesota communities are counting on the legislature to help them fund and improve water infrastructure facilities, housing, higher education, and upgrade unsafe railroad crossings among other critical requests."
