MINNEAPOLIS, MN – On Wednesday, March 9, Representative Drew Christensen, R-Burnsville, attended Governor Mark Dayton’s State of the State address on the campus of the University of Minnesota. Rep. Christensen’s guest was Savage native and University of Minnesota student Jack Farnen.
“I’m proud to have Jack attend the State of the State as my guest,” said Christensen. “Jack represents the thousands of college students and recent college grads I’m working for in St. Paul.”
In 2015, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed a tax relief bill that gave aid to college graduates struggling with student loan debt.
“In the current session, I’ll continue to advocate for student loan relief for our residents struggling with skyrocketing education costs,” said Christensen.
