Dear neighbors,
There are just hours left in the legislative session and no agreement on major portions of the state budget. After working late nights and through the weekend legislative leaders are forcing members to vote on bills that are hundreds of pages long very with little notice.
Very few updates are coming out of closed-door meetings, but I will provide updates as I receive them on my Facebook page for those who are interested. This budget belongs to the people of Minnesota and it should be negotiated in public.
I’m committed to economic programs and policies that improve incomes and the quality of life for all Minnesotans. We should be investing in what makes our state a leader, like investing in our schools and protecting our environment.
