Hello from St. Paul,
With Veterans Day almost here, I just wanted to take a moment to thank the men and women who have served or are currently serving our nation.
As an American, there is no greater sacrifice than to put your life aside to fight for our country. Our veterans did exactly that, leaving their jobs and their families in order to put a nation’s interests ahead of their own. Thousands of Minnesotans have answered this call to duty, and it is important to remember that without their courage and commitment, we would not have the freedoms that we enjoy today.
On this Veterans Day, I encourage you to find the veterans in your community and wish them well. It’s the one day each year where we should recognize these men and women for what they really are – true American heroes.
