SAINT PAUL, MN – Tomorrow, State Representative Paul Rosenthal (DFL-Edina) will present a bill that would ease traffic congestion on Interstate Highway 35W and Interstate Highway 494. HF 236 would improve the highway interchange by adding a northbound and westbound ramp. Designed almost 60 years ago with very little modifications since then, the interchange carries over 250,000 vehicles every day. In recent years, the I-35W and 494 interchange has been reported as one of the worst bottlenecks nationwide.
