Rep. Applebaum to hold town hall meeting in Minnetonka
Gives constituents opportunity to provide input at session midpoint
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Rep. Jon Applebaum (DFL – Minnetonka), Deputy Minority Leader in the Minnesota House, invites area residents to a legislative Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. The gathering will take place in the Council Chambers at the Minnetonka Community Center.
“With the session approximately halfway behind us and major budget and tax bills on the horizon, I’m looking forward to hearing directly from community members about important issues,” Rep. Applebaum said. “It’s an honor to be an advocate for my hometown at the Capitol, and I welcome any and all ideas as we look to expand opportunities for Minnesotans and build an economy where everyone has a chance to be successful.”
The meeting is free and open to the public and the press. If constituents aren’t able to attend, Rep. Applebaum invites them to share viewpoints throughout the session. He encourages them to reach out on any legislative issue by phone at 651-296-9934 or email at rep.jon.applebaum@house.mn.
