Dear Neighbors,

Legislative work at the Capitol continues to move along, and there are a number of topics to update you on since my last update.

______

What: Town Hall with local legislators

When: 9:30-11:00am, Saturday, April 1st

Where: Crystal Community Center, 4800 Douglas Dr N, Minneapolis, MN 55429

I will be co-sponsoring these meetings with State Representative Mike Freiberg and State Senator Ann Rest. Members of the public are welcome to attend with questions. These meetings are free and open to the public. Individuals may come and go as they please.

I value hearing your legislative priorities, and it helps guide my decision-making at the Capitol in St. Paul. I hope you can join us!

Youth Opportunities with Conservation Corps

This year the Conservation Corps will hire over 700 young people (aged 15-26) assisting in restoring natural resources, removing invasive species, and many other projects to help keep Minnesota beautiful. There are both summer and full-term (Feb to Dec) positions all over the state, with the deadline for some as soon as February 15. If you know a young person for whom this would be a good fit, send her or him to www.conservationcorps.org/apply or call (651) 209-9900.

If you have questions, comments or concerns on any legislative topic you can reach me by phone at 651-296-4255 or by email at rep.lyndon.carlson@house.mn .

Sincerely,

Lyndon Carlson

State Representative
