Poppe voices support following Gov. Dayton’s budget proposal

St. Paul, Minn. – Gov. Mark Dayton released his budget proposal for the coming biennium Tuesday morning. Rep. Jeanne Poppe (DFL – Austin) issued the following statement in response:

“I was pleased to hear Gov. Dayton reiterate his commitment to responsible governance that positively impacts all Minnesotans. He has always been interested in human capital; what we need to do to make sure people have good-paying jobs, access to those jobs and an ability to get their kids to and from school safely,” said Poppe.

“He has put his heart and soul into making Minnesota a great place to live, work and play. He continues to do that in this budget and it is a healthy step toward cementing the legacy of Minnesota as a state in which we all can take great pride.”

Rep. Jeanne Poppe can be reached at the Capitol by phone at 651-296-4193 or by email at rep.jeanne.poppe@house.mn.
