Happy New Year! I hope you were able to spend some quality time with friends and family over the holiday season.
Tuesday, January 3 marked the first day of the legislative session. It is an honor to represent our district. I’m pleased to report I have been appointed as the DFL Lead on the Transportation and Regional Governance Policy Committee. In this position, I look forward to working on improving our multimodal transportation system to create a prosperous Minnesota for our businesses and people of all ages and abilities. I will continue to push for needed resources, transparency and accountability. Additionally, I will serve on the Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance and the Transportation Finance Committees.
Our Capitol building restoration project has been completed. Public spaces are more numerous and accessible, and the attention to detail is outstanding.
