Rep. Johnson Sworn in for Third Term Representing District 19A

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

ST. PAUL—Minnesota state legislators gathered at the Capitol today for the first day of the 2017 Legislative Session. The 90th session of the state legislature will begin with 133 members being sworn into office at noon on Tuesday, including third-term Rep. Clark Johnson (DFL—North Mankato).

“It is humbling to represent and serve our community,” said Rep. Johnson. “We have a lot of work ahead of us. I hope to work with the Republican majorities to craft a long-term transportation plan with dedicated funding which meets the needs of all Minnesotans.”

In late December, Speaker Kurt Daudt appointed Rep. Johnson to five committees: Transportation Finance; Agriculture Finance; Agriculture Policy; Environment & Natural Resources Policy and Finance; and the Subcommittee on Mining, Forestry, & Tourism.
