Please join me in congratulating the Osseo Orioles on winning the Class 6A State Football Championship! The Orioles topped East Ridge, 14-13, on Friday to bring home the title!
It took a 79-yard touchdown drive late in the game to take the lead over the Raptors. As they have all season, the Orioles continued to fight until the end. Their perseverance and determination this year are certainly worthy of commendation. I can’t even begin to say how proud our area is of this incredible accomplishment.
Again, congratulations to the Orioles on their state championship!
