Today is a special day in our nation. Each year, November 11 affords us the opportunity to honor and thank our current and former military members during Veterans Day. We all know someone who has served this great country. I hope you will take a moment to let them know how much you appreciate their service and their willingness to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
Veterans Day is also a reminder of fantastic volunteer opportunities available to assist veteran-related causes. If you would like more information on how you could use your time to aid veterans, please visit www.volunteer.va.gov for more information.
