St. Paul, Minn.- Monday evening, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed the Omnibus Agriculture Policy bill, HF 3231, on a broad bipartisan vote of 127-0.
State Representative Jeanne Poppe (DFL-Austin) is an author of the legislation and released the following statement:
“This bill contains several initiatives benefiting family farmers. It takes necessary steps to address the increasing numbers of farming accidents across the state, improves farmer-lender mediation and removes red tape for local producers. I look forward to the bill advancing to Governor Dayton’s desk.”
