I hope Thanksgiving treated you well. I wanted to update you on some opportunities at the Sun Ray Library (2105 Wilson Ave):
E-learning for a better job, powered by Metrix Learning
The Library will be having orientations on Tuesday, December 1st and Tuesday December 8th at 10am for Metrix Learning.
Thousands of online courses are being offered, many leading towards industry-recognized certifications in medical, technical, and office support fields for free through the library and Metrix Learning.
Expungement Clinic
The Library will be hosting an expungement clinic on Friday, December 11th at 12 noon.
It will consist of a presentation by the Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN), this self-help workshop will explain Minnesota Expungement Law and how it applies to you. VLN attorneys will provide hands-on assistance in completing necessary paperwork. Sessions will be held on the second Friday of each month.
Family Winter Fun Celebration
Come to the Library and join in on a Family Winter Fun Celebration on Tuesday, December 22nd from 4:30-6:30.
Come and celebrate winter with a bonfire, nature adventure activities, and more!
