Each year Urban Oasis hosts the Food Fest and 5K. The event supports their healthy meal making programs that equip people with the skills to buy, store, and prepare healthy and affordable food.
Registration for this year’s 5K at the Food Fest is fast approaching. If you register for the 5K by August 31, you’ll be guaranteed a free race t-shirt and show your commitment to helping Urban Oasis celebrate the magic of real food!
Please, come join me and my daughter for the Urban Oasis Food Fest & 5K. The family-friendly event is a great opportunity to have fun with your neighbors and support Urban Oasis. After the race and kids’ Worm Wiggle event at 11:15 AM, the Food Fest celebration will run from 11:30AM to 4:00PM.
So, please come and join me at this family-friendly 5K. It’s the perfect opportunity to taste delicious, local foods, dance to live music, let the kids have some fun, and support Urban Oasis’ excellent programs.
