Dear Neighbors,
Less than six weeks remain in the 2016 session. Omnibus bills are coming together and legislators are working to ensure fiscal bills stay within the parameters of the recently released budget targets.
Several items remain unresolved in the Transportation and Taxes Conference Committees. To date, the Transportation Conference committee has met once, and the Taxes Conference Committee has yet to meet as the House and Senate are each still crafting a final tax bill.
