Tomorrow, November 11, we observe Veterans Day. This is an important day to honor the sacrifices and service our military men and women have given to our country.
I would like to take a moment to share with you a community event that is happening in the district tomorrow.
The Rotary Clubs of the Southwest Metro are hosting a Veterans Day luncheon on November 11 at the Edina Country Club, 5100 Wooddale Ave, Edina. Registration opens at 11:00 a.m. with a performance by the Rotary Brass Band, followed by lunch and a program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The program will be hosted by Dave Mona, with the keynote speech delivered by Ret. As we honor those who served, it is important to remember that the battles don’t end when they receive their discharge papers. Many veterans struggle to reintegrate into their former lives after their deployment ends. There are resources to help:
