Dear neighbor,
I hope this note reaches everyone in good spirits as summer winds down. The chill in the air today reminds us that winter isn't too far away, but hopefully we'll enjoy a few (long?) months of our beautiful Minnesota falls.
I want to pass along a guest column I wrote in the Rochester Post Bulletin on the Safe Routes to School program, which helps combat childhood obesity.
I am also having my monthly Second Saturday Coffee hour tomorrow. I am meeting people at Dunn Brothers Coffee (120 Elton Hills Drive NW) in Rochester. I will be there from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Lastly, but not least, I announced yesterday that I will not seek re-election in 2016. You can read the announcement here. Even though I am not running again, I am and will continue to work as your representative until my term ends.
