St. Paul, Minn. — Today on the opening day of the 2017 Legislative Session, Rep. JoAnn Ward (DFL – Woodbury) took the oath of office to represent District 53A for a third term in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
“I am humbled to continue my service to our community and our state,” said Ward. “It’s the people that make Minnesota such an incredible place to live and call home. We face many challenges in this New Year and I’m committed to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to get the job done.”
In late December, Rep. Ward was appointed to the following House committees: Education Innovation Policy, Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance, and State Government Finance.
