REP. BARB YARUSSO APPOINTED TO CLEAN WATER COUNCIL
ST. PAUL, MN – Today, House Speaker Paul Thissen appointed Rep. Barb Yarusso (DFL-Shoreview) to the Clean Water Council. The council was created in 2006 to advise administration of the Clean Water Fund as part of the Legacy Amendment. Rep. Paul Torkelson (R-Hanska) has also been appointed to the council.
“I am thrilled to have been appointed to the Clean Water Council,” said Rep. Yarusso. “I am committed to protecting and restoring water quality in Minnesota lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater systems.”
