GOP LEGISLATORS HOST STATE OF THE STATE JOBS ROUNDTABLE
Representative John Petersburg joined by Ag Power President Mike Milstead
SAINT PAUL, MN – Representative John Petersburg, R-Waseca, welcomed Mike Milstead, President of Ag Power, as his guest to Wednesday’s State of the State address where he participated in a jobs roundtable with local job creators from across the state.
House Republicans used their guest tickets to the annual address, traditionally reserved for friends and family members, to invite Minnesota job creators to participate in a roundtable immediately preceding the speech and to join them on the House floor.
“It was helpful to hear from job creators across the state about the concerns they have about the Governor’s tax proposal, and their ideas for fostering job creation,” Petersburg said. “Minnesota needs to remain competitive, and work to attract businesses to expand and invest in our state.”
Ag Power sells farm vehicles, parts, and equipment and has three Minnesota locations, including their main office in Owatonna, Minnesota located in District 24A.
