LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
News from Representative Newberger 03-27-2013
Hello everyone!
I would like to take a moment this week
to wish you all a very happy Easter and Passover Holiday!
The legislature is on break this week and will be back next week to finish the work we've begun.
As you know, the Governor has released a new spending and tax plan. I have been meeting with folks in the district this week to discuss what this could mean for our district and for the state.
Also this week I attended a townhall meeting in Watab township. I'd like to thank the good folks from that area for attending. We had close to sixty people in attendance. Our main focus was
transportation issues on U.S. Highway 10. I plan to work with MNDOT to try to find some solutions, and funding, for the problems
we identified.
Again, I want to wish you all a very safe and blessed Easter and Passover holiday season!
