News Release

Woodard, Dahle to host town hall meetings this Saturday

ST. PAUL – Rep. Kelby Woodard, R-Belle Plaine, and Sen. Kevin Dahle, D-Northfield, will co-host town hall meetings this Saturday, Feb. 23 at public libraries in New Prague and Elko/New Market.

The town hall in New Prague will start at noon, followed by the Elko/New Market meeting at 1:30 p.m. Both will last one hour. The legislators invite local residents to meet and discuss issues that are important to them and their families. Reservations are not necessary.

“I am committed to remaining connected and available to the residents of the district as we continue to face crucial decisions,” Woodard said. “These meetings will provide a great time for local residents to stop by and let us know their thoughts on the issues. Most people likely will want to discuss the state's budget and other topics pertaining to the economy, but you never know what may be on someone's mind. We look forward to the discussion.”

Prior to the town halls, Woodard will be meeting for breakfast with the Minnesota Corn & Soybean Growers of Scott and LeSueur counties.
