Office hours, CAP success

Dear Neighbor,

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the "office hours" events I co-hosted with Sen. DeKruif in Northfield, Lonsdale and Belle Plaine last Saturday.

Attendance was strong and I appreciate the wide variety of input we received. We are busy preparing for the 2012 legislative session and this type of face-to-face communication is crucial. I will send word when we have another round of office hours scheduled.

Also, many thanks to my Civil Air Patrol Squadron for a great promotions ceremony last week. As a state Representative, I was granted a 'brevet' promotion to Major (see the above photo). This is an amazing organization that focuses on emergency response and in providing unique opportunities for youth to build character. I am honored to be a part of this group!
