News From Representative Swedzinski - Veterans Day Message

Friday November 11th, we take time to honor our veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. It is important for us to remember the sacrifice these men and women have made for our country.

I would encourage you to find ways in your community to give back to those who have served to give us so much. There are many ways to volunteer whether through community outreach programs or through the Veterans Affairs office. The Department of Veterans Affairs website has more information about volunteering. http://www.volunteer.va.gov/

With deer hunting season also underway I hope that many of you will take advantage of Minnesota’s rich heritage of hunting. May you have a safe hunt and enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve had so far.
