SESSION UPDATE

News From Representative Swedzinski

Friends –

This week has been a bit shorter while we observe the Easter holiday members returned to their home districts. Senator Dahms and I hosted town hall meetings on Tuesday. We had a great time speaking with constituents about the issues and concerns they have.

This week also included visits to the Bellview senior living community as well as a meeting with Tracy city officials and a tour of the Redwood Falls hospital.

I also had the privilege of speaking to the Minneota students involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I also visited with the 6th grade class at Minneota Elementary School. It was a delight to share with them about the State Legislature and how a bill becomes a law.

On Thursday I also visited with the SMSU Student Senate organization. We had a great conversation about education.

With only 4 weeks to go until the end of session, the budget remains our number one priority.
