St. Paul, MN—This afternoon, Minnesota House Republicans unveiled their budget targets for the State. They laid a roadmap for Minnesota’s economic recovery by balancing the budget without raising taxes, living within its means, and slowing the growth of spending.
“This budget sets clear priorities by protecting education, nursing homes, courts, and veterans. It also provides $300 million in tax relief to lower and middle income Minnesotans. Additionally, Representative Myhra said, “It improves government services through innovation and reform.”
By aligning government with the economic reality facing our State, the budget will create a more efficient, less wasteful government, while creating a strong economic future for Minnesota.
