ST. PAUL - State Rep. Joe McDonald, R-Delano, invites District 19B residents to join him for a town hall meeting this month in Delano.
The meeting will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at Delano City Hall (234 2nd St. N.) and is open to the public. McDonald will participate in an informal discussion with local citizens, reflecting on the recently completed legislative sessions and also previewing what is on tap for 2012.
“These are very crucial times for our state and I am looking for all the input I can get from local citizens,” McDonald said. “We have a great opportunity to improve the way we do things in Minnesota and I am interested to hear what local residents think the state can do to operate more efficiently and make better use of our tax dollars. We face some enormous decisions and it is helpful to openly discuss the issues."
McDonald also welcomes your input by calling toll free 1-800-474-3425, or by emailing rep.joe.mcdonald@house.mn.
