EMAIL UPDATE

Back in the House

Folks,

We're back on the House floor tonight after the governor called a special session to vote on a series of budget bills that would end our state shutdown and set spending for the biennium.

There are 12 bills we will be reviewing on the House floor and there is an incredible amount of information to absorb. It will be good to conduct a thorough discussion on each of them and I look forward to discussing the pros and cons of our offer soon.

I expect our special session to last long into the night and probably even into tomorrow morning. Whatever the case, it is important for us to stay on task so we can get Minnesota moving forward again.
