Dear Neighbors,
The Fourth of July is fast-approaching, and I wanted to take a second to wish everyone a safe and fun-filled holiday!
Here is a sampling of Fourth of July festivities in our area:
Stillwater’s Fireworks Celebration
“Enjoy fireworks over the beautiful St. Croix River in downtown Stillwater! Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 10:00 p.m.). Musically choreographed fireworks simulcast on KLBB (1220 AM). Fireworks sponsored by the City of Stillwater, City of Oak Park Heights and the Margaret River Fund. Make sure to come early to get your spot!”
Stillwater: Light a Spark for the Library
The Stillwater Public Library Foundation is hosting its annual Fourth of July fundraising event on the Library's “Johnson Terrace” from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. “Come enjoy a delightful evening of music, entertainment, desserts, and a spectacular view of the fireworks.”
Lake Elmo Fourth of July Parade & Ice Cream Social
“Bring the family and enjoy our Independence Day Parade and Ice Cream social. It's a time of celebration and community!” The parade begins at noon, starting on Main Street and ending at Lion’s Park.
Woodbury Fourth of July
Fireworks will be held at Ojibway Park at 10:00 p.m., with music and entertainment beforehand, starting at 7:00 p.m.
While celebrating this holiday, please join me in paying tribute to all of the servicemen and servicewomen who gave their lives to protect the United States of America—those selfless individuals who gave – and continue to give – us reason to celebrate our many freedoms.
Keeping my commitment to you,
Kathy
