Input from local citizens is key

Neighbor-

One of the things I appreciate most as a legislator is feedback from constituents. An open line of communication is paramount as we make tough decisions this session.

I am in the process of setting up town hall meetings in District 25A so we can discuss the issues face-to-face in a casual setting. Well pass along details of those meetings when the particulars are in place.

Meantime, I have posted my 2011 Legislative Survey online (http://surveymonkey.com/s/25asurvey) and I invite you to participate. It provides an opportunity for local citizens to weigh in on the top issues we face this session, including how we should help people get back to work, revitalize the small-business community and erase our $6.2 billion budget shortfall. We also address a photo ID requirement for voters and the Vikings stadium issue.

For your convenience, you can obtain a paper version of the survey by calling my office at (651) 296-8891. I will send out results of the survey later this session. Again, your participation in this survey would be greatly appreciated as I continue working to represent local citizens at the Capitol.

Sincerely,
Glenn
