The Cold Weather Rule allows homeowners to apply with their utility company for a more affordable payment plan from October 15th – April 15th each year. If you have questions like: Can my heat be shut off in the winter? Are all utilities covered? How do I apply? Follow this link below to the Public Utilities Commission website.

I also wanted to remind any high school students who would like to participate in the Minnesota House of Representatives Page program to start applying now. I look forward to seeing students from district 11B in St. Paul during the 2012 session.
