News From Representative Fabian
Last week I met with Danial Carlson, project manager for the Northstar Agri Industries canola crushing plant. It is exciting to see the progress of the plant, I look forward to the opening soon.
I also had the privilege of being a part of the Ronald Reagan Centennial Coin Toss at the Northern Freeze football game last Friday. Congratulations to Northern Freeze for an impressive Homecoming victory. Special thanks to Athletic Director Ryan Johnson for the fun experience.
I participated in Walk for Life in Thief River Falls last Saturday as well, which was a great time. Walk for Life is a pro-life event put on by Roxanne Zerwas of the LifeCare Center, which provides alternatives to abortions. My donation went to Boy Scout troop 57 of Thief River Falls who helped out with the event.
On Monday I attended the Lutheran Social Services Senior Nutrition Annual Nutrition Council Banquet. Lutheran Social Services provides senior meals at the Heritage Center in Thief River Falls. They explained their programs to seniors from all parts of Northwestern Minnesota.
