ST. PAUL – Paul Rosenthal of West Bloomington and South Edina was officially sworn in as the District 41B State Representative as the 86th Legislative Session convened on January 6th, at the State Capitol. Rosenthal, a professional international currency trader, is beginning his first term as State Representative. He plans to use his extensive experience in a bipartisan fashion to build a better and stronger future for Minnesota.
"I am humbled by the honor that has been bestowed on me by the voters of District 41B, and look forward to serving our communities and the state," said Rosenthal. "These are challenging times and I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with fellow lawmakers as we work on issues important to Minnesota families."
Rosenthal will serve on key House committees: Housing Finance and Policy and Public Health Finance Division, Public Safety Policy and Oversight, and Transportation and Transit Policy and Oversight Division.
"My goals for the coming session are to make Minnesota’s government a tool to improve people’s lives and provide our children with brighter futures," said Rosenthal. "I believe by listening to each other and working together we can make effective decisions that will help solve the current budget deficit, create jobs, keep schools strong, provide adequate health care, invest in efficient transportation and sustain economic growth.
