SWIFT COUNTY AWARDED GRANT TO EXPAND CNH AMERICA IN BENSON AND CREATE MORE JOBS
ST. PAUL, MN – State Representative Andrew Falk (DFL-Murdock) is pleased to announce that Department of Employment and Economic Development has awarded a grant of $400,000 from the Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) program for the expansion of CNH America, a manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment, in Benson.
"MIF helps cities and counties improve and strengthen their business and economic base by providing financing for business expansion and relocations. MIF allows Minnesota to compete for new business and attract good paying jobs," stated Rep. Andrew Falk. “More jobs mean more money gets spent in the community. The CNH expansion will create 20 jobs over the next two years, which will boost our rural economy."
"I commend our Swift County Commissioners and Swift County Rural Development Finance Authority Director Jennifer Gruis for your excellent work on a successful grant application,” said Falk. “I applaud you on continuing what all of us want and need: more jobs."
