FALK PRAISES TEACHERS, MOM
(ST. PAUL) – State Representative Andrew Falk (DFL-Murdock) thanked teachers today at the Capitol in St. Paul. Legislators from across Minnesota celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day, a national day of recognition for educators. Rep. Falk released the following statement.
“I was fortunate to have been raised by a teacher. My mother continues to teach 5th and 6th grade students at KMS elementary school. I know that she and her colleagues were very good at what they did. Teachers are special people who dedicate more than just their time and talents to help kids realize their potential, have a brighter future, and become good citizens. Thank you to teachers across Minnesota, who make sacrifices that are hard to quantify but important to value."
