Time to renew free Session Weekly mag membership

The session ended last month and I got my crops planted after returning home from St. Paul. We have been extremely dry, but this morning a beautiful rain is falling. For that we give thanks.

Many meetings are on the schedule, and our first parade is tomorrow in Cyrus. I attended a symposium on small towns at the University of Minnesota in Morris yesterday. It was a good event with more than 200 folks from all across the state in attendance.

I hope your summer is going well and that you can enjoy being outside. We live in a great state and a great country.

For those of you who receive the House Session Weekly news magazine in your mailbox weekly during session, please note: At the end of every biennium, postal regulations require the Session Weekly mailing list to be purged.

If you want to receive Session Weekly next year, when the legislative session begins Jan. 4, you will need to renew your subscription.

You can do this by filling out the renewal form contained in the final 2010 Session Weekly issue, by calling House Public Information Services at 651-296-2146 or 800-657-3550, or going online to http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/hinfo/subscribesw.asp#bymail.
