Rep. Persell Applauds Leadership Shown by Governor in State of the State Address
Saint Paul, Minnesota – Tonight Governor Mark Dayton delivered his annual State of the State address, emphasizing targeted proposals aimed at putting Minnesotans back to work, reforming government, and improving education.
State Representative John Persell (DFL – Bemidji) offered the following statement:
“Governor Dayton’s leadership this evening on finding innovative, positive ways to put Minnesotans back to work, is just what the doctor ordered for our state’s economic woes.
“The jobs initiatives outlined by Governor Dayton are common-sense solutions with proven results in Minnesota and across the country. It is my hope that we can work swiftly, in a bi-partisan manner, to get these policies passed so that we can begin getting Minnesotans back to work now, rather than later.
“I applaud the Governor’s forward-thinking vision for our state."
