DETTMER EARNS GUARDIAN OF SMALL BUSINESS AWARD
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota’s largest small-business group, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, is pleased to announce that Bob Dettmer has earned the “Guardian of Small Business Award” for the 2007-08 biennium.
“Rep. Dettmer is a strong supporter of small business at the Capitol,” said Mike Hickey, State Director for NFIB/MN.
Rep. Dettmer understands the vital role small businesses play in our state’s economy and realizes how many jobs are created by small businesses each year. He has made many votes in support of small business, including voting against a new 9-percent top income-tax hike in the minimum wage that would eliminate jobs, especially for younger workers.
Small business has a real friend in Rep. Dettmer and we are happy to announce that he has earned the ‘Guardian of Small Business Award,’” said Mike Hickey.
