Rep. Sarah Anderson Named to Minnesota House Jobs Task Force
ST. PAUL-- Representative Sarah Anderson is one of eight Republican members named to the 36-member Minnesota House of Representatives Jobs Task Force. The group’s assignment is to develop a jobs creation plan that can be passed by the legislature in the 2010 session.
"I am excited for this opportunity to work with members of both parties to generate sustainable job growth in Minnesota," says Anderson. "With the encouraging news of Minnesota’s dropping jobless rate, it is important to develop policies that will promote job recovery without getting in the way of positive market forces."
The task force is expected to begin meeting in September. Representative Anderson encourages constituents to contact her with feedback and ideas for leading Minnesota along the road of economic recovery.
