LETTER TO THE EDITOR
To the Editor:
With the 2009 legislative session underway I would like to thank the residents of Plymouth and Medicine Lake for again trusting in me to speak for them and their families in the Minnesota House. Serving is an honor that I take very seriously, and I pledge to carry out these responsibilities to the best of my abilities.
One of my goals is to maintain open communication with the people I represent. I encourage anyone and everyone with an idea, suggestion, comment or even a complaint to contact me and share their thoughts. I am still in the State Office Building across from the Capitol Building, but my office number is now 217. Please stop by if you want to talk.
The upcoming session will be one of the more historic in state history as we balance the budget. We have the opportunity to do great work that will benefit Minnesota for years to come. I will serve on four committees this session. They are: Higher Education and Workforce Development; Commerce and Labor; Environment Finance; and Taxes.
