ST. PAUL - State Representative Sandra Masin was officially sworn in to represent Eagan and Burnsville in the Minnesota House for the next two years.
"In Eagan, Burnsville, and across the state; Minnesotans sent a strong message to lawmakers in November," Masin said. "They're sick of the partisanship and want us to come together as Minnesotans to create permanent property tax relief, build a safe and efficient transportation system, make health care affordable, and ensure quality schools, colleges, and universities."
Despite being in her first term, Rep. Masin already has some high-profile committee positions in the Legislature. She will serve as Vice Chair of the Telecom Regulation/Infrastructure Committee and hold seats on the Biosciences and Emerging Technologies, Education Finance and Economic Competitiveness Finance, and Transportation Finance committees.
"These assignments and my leadership position present a great opportunity to directly address issues important to Eagan and Burnsville," Masin added.
Rep. Masin is encouraging Eagan and Burnsville residents to contact her if they have questions, comments, or ideas about a legislative issue. She can be reached at 651-296-3533 or via e-mail at rep.sandra.masin@house.mn.
"During the session, my office is always open to any Eagan or Burnsville resident who wants to talk about issues important to them."
