Reps. Ward, Radinovich, Sen. Ruud Meet with Forestview Middle School Students

ST. PAUL, MN – On Tuesday, April 30, State Representatives John Ward (DFL – Baxter), Joe Radinovich (DFL – Crosby), and Senator Carrie Ruud (R – Breezy Point) met with sixth graders from Forestview Middle School. The students were visiting the Capitol as part of a field trip. Reps. Ward, Radinovich, and Sen. Ruud met with the students, answered questions, and posed for photos on the Capitol steps.

“It’s always exciting when we have students down here, learning about our state government and getting to talk with their legislators,” said Rep. Ward. “We have such great, bright students, and I hope this visit increased their interest in state government.”

“These students are the future leaders of our state and it’s always great to meet with them, hear about the issues they care about, and get them involved in their democracy,” said Rep. Radinovich. “I hope they will visit the Capitol on a regular basis to stay involved.”

"One of the best parts of our jobs is having the wonderful school children from our districts come down to see us," added Sen. Ruud.
